Submitting Articles

Contributing articles to HorseIceCream.com gets you noticed by your equestrian peers. It also gets you advertising credit on HorseIceCream.com. Eventually we may offer other incentives including HorseIceCream.com apparel, gift cards, and cash. However, initially we're offering advertising credit.

Here's how it works:

1. Apply to be a HorseIceCream.com Author
2. Write an Article
3. Submit the article to us
4. Article is reviewed by HorseIceCream.com editor
5. Approval gets you advertising credit

Advertising credit is for graphic ads and Horse For Sale ads. Classified ads are not included. Advertising credit is up to $40 per article. After reviewing your article, HorseIceCream.com will email you with changes or clarifications (if needed), and an offer for the credit amount. If it's acceptable, then you reply and the credit is assigned to your account.

HorseIceCream.com weighs the following to determine the value of articles

• Appropriateness for our audience
• Length of article
• Quality of writing
• Timeliness
• Author rank

The approval of articles and the value placed on the articles is at the sole discretion of the HorseIceCream.com editor.
