Classified Ad FAQWe hope you will consider Advertising in our classifieds.
What is the difference between the Ad types?Classified ads come in three flavors. Free, Standard and Premium. Free: Limited to 80 characters. They are listed last in each classified section. These ads also have a smaller display font, and a black headline. Free ads only run for 2 weeks and then must be recreated. Standard: Limited to 150 characters. They are listed second in each classified section. These ads have a blue headline. They are charged for by the month. Premium: Limited to 255 characters. They are listed first in each classified section. These ads have a bold, blue headline and it is on a white background. They are charged for by the month. Can I add a free classsified without signing in?No, even though the ad is free, you must still use the same system as the paid classifieds. You will be able to use the same login for free classifieds if you choose to purchase Advertising later. Can I have a link on my ad?Yes, when you enter your ad, one of the options is to provide a URL (web address). If you provide a URL your classified ad will work as a link to that web page. Free ads do not get a link, even if it is supplied when entering the ad. What information do I need create a Advertisers account?You will need the following information to open a advertising account with us.
Can I Advertise a horse for sale in the classifieds?No you can not. HorseIceCream.com has a special place for selling horses and you need to use that method if you wish to advertise a horse for sale with us. |
